The Worship Experience
Sunday services at St. Peter's are designed to be engaging for everyone - whether you grew up in church or this is your first time ever stepping inside one. Here's what the experience typically includes:
Services typically run about 90 minutes. You're welcome to stay and connect with others afterward, or simply head out whenever you're ready - no pressure, no obligation.
Families Are Welcome
We love families at St. Peter's. GenOne, our children and youth ministry for Nursery through College, meets on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays during the 9:30 AM service. Kids are welcomed, valued, and cared for in age-appropriate environments so parents can fully engage in worship.
What Do I Wear?
Services typically run about 90 minutes. You're welcome to stay and connect with others afterward, or simply head out whenever you're ready - no pressure, no obligation.
What's in it for the children?
At St. Peter’s, our goal is for children to encounter Jesus and build friendships. Each week, your children will explore the life of Jesus and the Gospel, delving into the Bible to witness God’s incredible love for them. With engaging lessons, interactive activities, and worship sessions, we believe every child can grasp the core message of the gospel.
What is a Worship Experiencelike?
St. Peter’s is a vibrant, energetic, and a church that is deeply immersed in being the hand and feet of Christ. A service typically begins with powerful contemporary worship led by St. Peter’s Worship. The music is a blend of modern Christian, gospel and worship songs, creating an atmosphere that feels more like a worship experience than a traditional church service. With professional production elements, the experience is designed to engage all senses and foster a strong connection to the worship. The messages delivered are relevant, encouraging, and often accompanied by creative visual elements, making the entire experience both uplifting and memorable.
What is the basis of the teaching?
The Great Commission was given by Christ and is binding on every believer to “go into all the world and teach and preach the gospel to everyone.” This command is a foundational directive for Christians to spread the good news of the gospel. It emphasizes the importance of sharing the message of salvation, love, and hope with all people, regardless of their background or location. By fulfilling this mission, believers actively participate in expanding the reach of the gospel and making disciples of all nations, thereby continuing the work that Christ began.
What should I ? wear?
When attending a worship experience, it’s best to embrace a casual yet presentable style. The church has a contemporary and relaxed atmosphere, so you can feel comfortable wearing jeans, casual pants, or skirts paired with simple tops like T-shirts, blouses, or sweaters. Footwear can be casual as well, with sneakers, flats, or low-heeled shoes being common choices. While the dress code is informal, it’s still a good idea to aim for a neat and modest look, reflecting respect for the service while enjoying the laid-back vibe of the community.
